Les Amants RĂ©guliers
After years of having the dvd in my cupboard; I finally decided to watch the film yesterday. It was exactly how I thought the film would be. Regular Lovers is a black and white semi-romantic film based around the 1968 riots in Paris. Although the film could be perceived as boring
by many; I found the film quite laid back and relaxing. I loved the randomness of the conversations and the unpredictable relationship of Francois and Lilie.
I think the film showed a realistic and unglamorous portrayal of how Phillipe GarreI saw the events of May 1968.

Last Train Home
Last Train Home is a captivating and simply filmed documentary. It was easy to sympathize with every family member, especially Qin. Qin may have shown a
strong dislike and lack of respect for her parents, but I found myself completely understanding her built up hostility and emotional pain, which in all honesty wasn't down to her prevail. The cinematography was beautiful
amongst the chaos of the scenes.

Lisbon
In July I went to Portugal for a break. My friend and I also went to the Optimus alive festival in Lisbon for a few days too (Definately the best festival i've ever been too). I wish I could have stayed for the whole summer. I love portugal.
