Last Week I came back from North Portugal. I wanted to experience the Sao Joao Festival celebrations in Porto, drink port and stay in a fun hostel. It was definitely the best all night street party I had ever been to and I loved the tradition of hitting people with plastic hammers. Everyone says Lisbon plays while Porto works but I found that the city of Porto never slept in the week I was there. I look forward to going back next year ;-)
